About

Hunter Savoy is an interdisciplinary artist working through movement and co-evolutionary materials, predominantly leather and metal, to design for the body. In 2018, Savoy founded NAASSENE, a subkink leatherwear brand that emphasized the use of bondage and compression leathers as a means of healing trauma and disordinance in the body, allowing new pathways of euphoria and self adoration to emerge. Hunter Savoy has designed and produced leathers for Sudan Archives, Moses Sumney, Lachlan Watson, SASAMI, Bella Thorne, & Indigo De Souza among others. Their work has been featured in Dazed & ID. Their practice is a continual unfurling of the relationship between self, surrounding, and the power of materials we hold dear.

Our studio is committed to excellence in material sourcing and Earth-based reciprocity. All leathers are ethically sourced from a regenerative family-run tannery in Veracruz, Mexico where water is meticulously recycled for continual use with only plant-based materials utilized in the dyeing process.

All pieces are designed and constructed by Hunter Savoy in their studio in New York
